Understanding Physics and Mathematics Through Motion 000. Two Languages for Understanding the World — Physics and Mathematics
This opening trailer introduces a simple scene: an object falling. We can watch its position change. Physics asks what is changing and why; mathematics gives us a precise way to describe the pattern.
A picture helps us notice motion, but explaining it asks for shared quantities and relationships. Physics checks our description against the world. Mathematics helps us express the description clearly enough to compare moments and make predictions.
This series begins with observation and builds one step at a time: measurable quantities and units, ratios, coordinates, vectors, graphs of position over time, speed, and acceleration. Each lesson adds only the ideas needed to understand the next question.
Note: this original trailer is in Korean. The English explanation above accompanies the same first video.
Next: 001 — Quantity and Unit.
